woOO super excited! My baby bought me a new handbag for valentines/anniversary present! even though our anniversary is not until April so its an early present BUT im trying to refrain myself and tryng to get him to hang onto it until the right day before giving it to me so its more special! a few months ago we were shopping around crown and i fell in love with this versace clutch... not in this material.. this picture does not do the bag justice.. the one i saw was in this grayish/greenish ostrich skin leather. it was SO pretty!! Soooo then one day jonny walked past versace on his way home from work and saw that they plastered sale signs all over the shop window... realised that versace was 30% off EVERYTHING! we dropped by versace on the weekend in hopes of finding the bag but realised that it was not there.. the sales assistant was very nice and said what she can do is call up the Sydney and Queensland Stores to see if they had any and she will call me back.. or she said she can do it right away and if they have it she can get it shipped down to us as long as we pay today... by this time she had shown me the bag in the above pic and i was having second thoughts as the bag just didnt look as nice in that material and colour... sooo i thought ok maybe let her call after and then she can call me if they had any... so me and jonny went to gamble (well more so jonny went to gamble) he ended up winning $600 in 3 card poker and we decided ok lets head back to versace lol when we got there the lady said she had been a bit busy and will call for us straight away.. she called the stores but they didnt understand which bag she was talking about and they said they will email her a pic to make sure its the right bag we are after... then she has a chat to the manager and heads to the back room and brings out the bag! The manager had put aside the bag for his sister but had told the sales assistant that if we really wanted it we can have it and he will track down the bag elsewhere for his sister! BUT being that the bag was a limited edition and sold out it was not getting a discount! =[ We decided to get it anyway knowing that this was our last chance to get the bag.. when we got to the counter another sales assistant who overhead how desperate we were to get the bag went to double check on the discount but was also told being it was sold out and limited edition item there was no discount... but as we were getting ready to pay jonny realised he was about 200 short as we thought with 30% he would have enough.. the lady overheard us talking and said she will give us a $200 discount if we are short even though shes not meant to! wooOO SCORE so now my lovely bag is sitting in jonnys house waiting to come home! very very excited indeed! although with jonny spending this much on me... i know for the next 2 months i will be extra poor getting him a gift that will match what he got me as it'll be a combined valentine, anniversary and birthday gift. Hes wanting a body kit, rims and numerous other things for his car .. so looks like i'll be living poor for the next 2 months but its ok.. i love my new bag
